Man shocked by $1 million Lotto win: 'My heart is popping!'

A western Sydney man has confessed his hands were shaking after discovering his million-dollar lottery win in Wednesday’s Lotto draw.

The lucky man, who held the only division one winning entry nationally in the Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4129, took home $1 million.

When an official from The Lott called the man this morning, he had no idea he'd become a millionaire overnight.

“Woah,” was all the man was able to say at first.

“My heart is popping! My hands are shaking!” he added.

The ecstatic winner explained he had been playing Lotto for a long time, but only started playing his winning numbers three weeks ago.

“I never thought I’d win a prize like this. Thank you so much,” he said.

“I’m going to retire immediately. It will be amazing.”

The winning numbers in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4129 on Wednesday, November 10, were 8, 43, 24, 11, 13, and 30, while the supplementary numbers were 12 and 32.

The man’s win brings the Lott’s division one winning tally to 399 so far this calendar year, including 121 won by NSW Lotteries customers.

Wife plans hilarious surprise for husband after $1m Lotto win

An excited Victorian woman joked she plans to surprise her husband with a champagne shower to celebrate their $1 million TattsLotto win.

The couple, from the town of Portland on the state's south west coast, held one of the six division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4205, drawn Saturday, November 6 – pocketing $1,015,392.69.

After initially missing a call from The Lott, the winning woman was ecstatic to discover her life-changing win when she picked up the phone.

“I’m a millionaire?! What the hell! Please tell me this isn’t a prank! Please tell me you aren’t joking!” the woman screamed.

“You have no idea what this means. This is making me cry so much,” she cried happily.

Once the news sank in, the excited winner explained she planned to surprise her husband that evening.

“Oh my god. I can’t wait to tell my husband. I need a fun way to let him know! Maybe I will do champagne showers and tell him we’re millionaires,” the excited winner said.

“We might also plan a dinner with some friends and our family tonight to celebrate too. It’ll be low-key, but still fun!”

When asked how the couple planned to spend their prize, the emotional woman said the possibilities were endless.

'What can’t I do, is the question?'

“I’m so overwhelmed though, that I am not really sure what I’ll do. What can’t I do, is the question?” she asked.

She then went on to say that she would use their newfound fortune to help out their family and enjoy their retirement in the future, too.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4205 were 33, 28, 15, 30, 11 and 39, with supplementary numbers were 35 and 19.

More chances to become an overnight millionaire

In the 12 months to 30 June 2021, Monday & Wednesday Lotto has created 95 millionaires across Australia.

During this time, there were 102 division one winning Monday & Wednesday Lotto entries across Australia, which collectively won $101 million.
