Schoolyard brawl leaves boy, 10, fighting for life
A schoolyard fight has left a 10-year-old boy fighting for life in a Sydney hospital.
Emergency crews were called to Wattawa Heights Public School in Bankstown, southwestern Sydney, about midday on Tuesday following reports of a fight.
The boy was taken to The Children’s Hospital at Westmead and is in a critical but stable condition.
Police are trying to work out who was involved in the fight that occurred just after midday yesterday.
Nobody has been arrested and the school is facing serious questions about what led to the bashing.
