A little girl has been hospitalised after an accidental hanging in a Sydney backyard.
Four crews were called to the home at Eastern Creek, in the city’s northwest, after the accidental hanging about 4.45pm on Tuesday.
The girl, five, was helped by family members who administered CPR, a NSW Ambulance spokesman told Yahoo7.
“They were cutting her down and gave her first aid,” he said.
A NSW Police spokeswoman said the girl was transported to Westmead Children’s Hospital in a critical condition.
The NSW Ambulance spokesman added the girl was now conscious and breathing.
The incident is being investigated by police.
