The nasty note left on a mother's broken down car

A Queensland mum has shared a nasty note she received after her car broke down on the Sunshine Coast.

Mother-of-three Jodi Shorrock was driving on Marys Street, Noosaville to an appointment with a doctor on Friday about 10am when she told Yahoo7 her car “sounded like it was running out of fuel”.

“So, it just stopped running and had half a tank,” Ms Shorrock said.

“I just pulled over the safest I could.”

Ms Shorrock had her six-year-old daughter Lilli with her who wasn’t feeling well.

She said she put her hazard lights on, pulled over into what she described as a “large shoulder” with “room to be off the road” and waited for RACQ before taking her Lilli to the bathroom at a nearby shopping centre.

She was told it’d be more than an hour wait to get the situation sorted.

A tow truck eventually arrived two hours later and that’s when she came across a note on her windshield.

“You are a bloody idiot parking here – the flashing lights don’t help,” the note reads.

“You fool!”

Ms Shorrock said she can’t understand why someone left the note on her windshield adding she “did everything right for being broken down” and “didn’t block anyone in”.

When asked if she had any clue who may have left the note she replied, “I have no idea”.

However, she’s since shared the note on Facebook on a local community notice board adding it made her day worse.

Many sympathised with the mother and are appalled by the note.

One person told her to rip the note up and get rid of it as it was written by “an inconsiderate person”.

“Gutless for writing a note,” another added.

“Don’t even give it a second thought.”
