McDonald's announces new McNuggets dipping sauces: 'Whole new level'

The fast-food giant has released two of four new sauce to hit stores across Australia.

While McDonald's Chicken McNuggets are an all-time favourite of fast-food lovers, it's the accompanying sauces that can set them apart from their competitors.

That's why Macca's regulars will be delighted to learn the iconic chain is set to release four limited edition sauces across Australia which they say will "take the dipping experience to a whole new level".

Inspired by nations competing in the Women's World Cup which is being hosted by Australia and New Zealand, Macca's will release two sauces on Wednesday, with the remaining two to be released in August.

First out will be Wasabi Flavoured Mayo and Outback BBQ Sauce – which Group Brand Manager for McDonald’s Australia, Lancy Huynh, says will "get tastebuds tingling".

“From spicy to tangy, there is a sauce for everyone so, get dipping!” she urged. The dips are available in store, via the app and McDelivery until stock lasts.

Latest in a long line of limited edition sauces

Last year fans went wild for the release of a Curry Sauce flavour, with diners previously petitioning for the sauce to be handed out with McNuggets. Macca's also temporarily released a Cajun, Szechuan and Mighty Hot sauce.

And for those who want to get more bang for their buck, they might want to try this Chicken McNugget 'hack' from a popular TikToker who claims she's able to supersize her nuggets. "They're not really called giant McChicken nuggets, but they pretty much are," Brisbane influencer Bec Hardgrave told her followers.

In other Macca's news, the fast-food chain announced it is trialling its McPlant burger in Victoria until November 1. As the name suggests, the patty is plant-based.
