Lotto players urged to check tickets for $2.5 million win
Two lucky syndicates have kicked off the working week $2.5 million richer after scoring division one prizes in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.
However, some members of the winning syndicates are yet to discover the life-changing news.
The two Melbourne syndicates, each with 15 members, were among eight division one winners in TattsLotto draw 4233, on Saturday, February 12.
Each division one winning entry scored a $2.5 million prize, with one syndicate located in Bundoora and another in several suburbs around Melbourne.
Lottery officials from The Lott are urging players to check their tickets as soon as possible, so they can celebrate the winning news.

In addition to winning division one, the syndicate’s System 7 entry also scored division two 6 times, division five 3 times and division six 13 times, boosting the syndicate’s total prize to $2,559,825.20.
Called the Big Bonanza, the winning syndicate entries were purchased at Bundoora Centre Newsagency.
Bundoora Centre Newsagency owner Michael Mertzanidis said he was relishing his outlet’s latest division one win.
“I’ve already spoken to some of the regulars in the syndicate and it’s such a bright light in their lives given what everyone’s had to go through for the past two years,” he said.
When asked how the players responded to the winning news, Mr Mertzanidis said they were already planning how to spend their fortune.
“They’re almost in tears. They’re just so happy. Some have home renovations plans, while others are paying off a few bills and getting ahead.”
