Charges over fatal Bussell Hwy crash

Police have charged a 49-year-old Jarrahwood woman after a fatal crash in Yalyalup in March.

A Ford Festiva collided with a Mitsubishi Triton towing a trailer on Bussell Highway near Osprey Road at about 6.05am on Sunday March 29.

A 35-year-old woman, who was a passenger in the Ford, was killed in the crash.

The 49-year-old woman behind the wheel of the Festiva was charged with dangerous driving occasioning death.

She is due to appear in Busselton Magistrates Court on May 25.
