Murder charge over Yangebup death
UPDATE: A 28-year-old man has been charged with murder over the death of an Armadale man in a Yangebup home on Friday.
Jonathan Sarantos, of no fixed address, was arrested yesterday and appeared in the Perth Magistrate's Court this morning.
He was remanded in custody to appear in the Stirling Gardens Magistrate's Court on June 24.
A 30-year-old woman has been released without charge. She is helping police with their inquiries.
A murder inquiry was launched after police and paramedics found the 25-year-old Armadale man, whose name has not been released, with significant injuries at the Bonito Place home and they were unable to revive him.
A nearby resident called triple-zero about 9.45pm.
Forensic officers spent the weekend at the scene gathering evidence to try to determine what unfolded.
