Powerball winner reveals last-second call that won $53 million
The search for the Sydney winner of the $160 million Powerball division one prize is over.
Two of the three winners sharing the jackpot have now been found, with one Western Australian winner still to come forward.
The Penrith dad only checked his unregistered entry in Thursday night's huge Powerball draw the next morning, saying the last-minute decision has truly changed his life.
"Really? Are you sure! Holy sh*t! This is amazing!” he screamed, after an official confirmed his whopping $53 million win.
“To think I almost missed out on getting an entry into the draw. I had to rush out and grab one yesterday before the draw closed!
When first checking his entry on Friday morning, the man said his family weren't convinced.
“I told my family, ‘I think I might have won division one’, but no one believed me.
“Tell you what, they believe me now!"
The dad from western Sydney said the family have had a difficult period, and this win will change everything.
“Oh my god, my family’s life just changed in a second," he said.
“It hasn’t been an easy time for us lately, so this is just incredible.
“I’ll finally be able to buy a home for my family, my kids can have whatever they want for Christmas, and we’re secure and set up for life.
“Thank you, thank you, thank you!”
Other $160 million division one winners
The other division one winner who is aware of their $53m prize, is a a blue-collar worker from Clyde, Victoria who bought his ticket online.
The unassuming man was having a quiet night at home when he received the unexpected call confirming his multi-million-dollar share of the jackpot.
He declared his retirement immediately and has already planned what he'll do with the money.
"My grandson wanted a dog for Christmas and I was trying to organise it for him. He can have all the dogs in the world now!" he said.
The last winner lives in Western Australia and is currently unknown.

The winning numbers in the Powerball draw 1380 on Thursday were 10, 4, 12, 18, 2, 34 and 7.
The all-important Powerball number was 7.
