Aussies are being urged to check their tickets.

The search is on for the country's newest multi-millionaire who scooped up a whopping $4 million in Thursday night's Powerball draw.

The division one winner is still completely unaware of their mega win, with lottery officials urging all players to check their tickets. The mystery millionaire from Melbourne was one of two division one winners, with each pocketing a life-changing $4 million in Powerball draw 1434.

Officials from The Lott have no way of contacting the newly made millionaire to share the news and must wait for the ticketholder to come forward and claim their prize.

The winning numbers in Powerball draw 1434 were 35, 15, 3, 23, 34, 29 and 30. The all-important Powerball number was 2.

Shop sells two division one winning tickets in just months

The winning entry was purchased at Lilydale Village Lotto & News in the outer suburb of Lilydale. Owner Rakesh Aggarwal said he was thrilled to hear his outlet had sold a winning entry.

"There aren't enough words for us to express the excitement we're feeling after helping change someone's life in last night’s $8 million Powerball draw," he told The Lott. "I only entered the lottery business five months ago and my outlet has already sold two division one winning entries — one in Set for Life, and now this division one winning entry in Powerball."

Aussies urged to check tickets

The Lott spokesperson Anna Hobdell said she was eagerly waiting to confirm the life-changing news and speak to the mystery Lilydale winner.

"We're urging anyone who purchased a Powerball ticket at Lilydale Village Lotto & News to check their lottery tickets today!" she said. "Imagine if the Powerball ticket that's sitting in your back pocket, tucked away in your purse or under a magnet on your fridge is worth $4 million!"
