Powerball Draw 1326: The numbers you need to win $40 MILLION

It's been weeks since somebody picked the right numbers in Powerball, causing the potential prize jackpot to surge substantially.

A whopping $40 million is up for grabs and here are the winning Powerball numbers that rolled out of the barrel.

The lucky numbers for draw number 1326 are 23, 20, 17, 27, 22, 32 and 12 and the all-important Powerball number is 17.

No division one prize winner for fourth week in a row

Unfortunately, the top prize once again remains untouched with no winners in this week's draw. It does mean, however, that next week's prize will jackpot to a whopping $60 million.

Four players took out division two though, each taking home a tidy $168,109.50.

Here's how much Aussies have won

Since June last year, Powerball has crowned 17 division one winners across Australia, who pocketed more than $519.8 million in combined prize money.

During this time, a mind-blowing $80 million jackpot was twice on the table – the biggest on offer by any Australian lottery game.

In August, a North Melbourne man was lucky enough to take home the life-changing $80 million sum after losing his job during during a recent lockdown.

“We had only just bought a home and didn’t see it coming. I’ve been working as a cleaner ever since to make ends meet," he said.

“But I’ve always said, you’ve just gotta keep trying. Now, look what’s happened!"

The most recent Powerball winner was a Queensland dad who claimed $10 million three weeks ago after entering for years.

The self-proclaimed Ipswich “battler” planned to pay off his mortgage and work part-time.

“I have always wanted to make some smart investments and of course, help our children," he said.

“I will be able to pay off their mortgages in full! And when we can, we will travel around the country.

“It will make a big change."
