Parents, 21, die in horrific crash, leaving two-month-old an orphan
A two-month-old boy has been orphaned after his young parents were killed in a horrific car crash in Texas.
Hunter and Alexis Wilkes, both 21, were killed instantly when their car collided with a pickup truck towing a trailer on Sunday morning (local time) near Carthage, KLTV reports.
The couple, who are from Louisiana, were trying to turn on to US 59 highway around 10am when their Mazda was hit by the Dodge Ram.
Police told local publications their two-month-old son was also in the car at the time and is in hospital in a stable condition.
The driver of the truck, 79, was also taken to hospital in stable condition.
