Check your Oz Lotto tickets! Search for mystery $30 million winner

·2-min read

Players are being urged to check their Oz Lotto tickets after a mystery winner from Queensland scored the entire $30 million jackpot in Tuesday night’s draw.

The only division one winning ticket in Oz Lotto draw 1481 was purchased from a Golden Casket outlet in Brisbane’s western suburbs, officials at The Lott revealed.

But because the winning ticket was not registered, the mystery purchaser may not yet know they are $30m richer.

“Someone has become an overnight midweek multi-millionaire but possibly doesn't know it yet. We can’t wait for them to discover this winning news!” The Lott spokesperson Matt Hart said.

“Just imagine how $30 million might change your life and the lives of your nearest and dearest."

Mr Hart said whoever is holding the winning ticket should phone 131 868 as soon as possible so The Lott can start the prize claim process.

As well as the $30m jackpot, there were more than 562,000 division two to seven winners in Tuesday’s draw, collectively taking home more than $11 million.

The winning numbers were 20, 22, 2, 17, 41, 31 and 29, while the supplementary numbers were 7, 18 and 36.

Man wins $60 million Powerball

The hunt for the mystery multi-millionaire comes after a man from Canberra won the $60 million Powerball in draw 1363 last week.

The man, who called the win “life-changing”, said his lucky numbers were inspired by his family.

He said he has children and a "very large family", so they will be looked after thanks to his win and this will allow him to retire.
