More clues emerge of $50 million Oz Lotto winner as search continues

The winner of Oz Lotto’s biggest jackpot in a decade could be a step closer to being found with the location of the lucky ticket holder now revealed.

Tuesday night’s $50 million division-one winner has yet to come forward and officials can’t make contact with them due to the ticket not being registered.

While it was initially announced the winner could hail from either NSW or the ACT, officials revealed on Wednesday the winning entry was purchased in the City of Shoalhaven, on the NSW south coast.

The mystery ticket holder held the only division one winning entry nationally in Oz Lotto draw 1377.

All City of Shoalhaven residents who had an entry into last night’s Oz Lotto draw should check their tickets, The Lott spokesperson Lauren Cooney said.

“Imagine waking up this morning and going about your usual Wednesday chores with no idea you’ve won $50 million,” she said.

“It’s possible this mystery winner is still unaware they’re suddenly a multi-millionaire and maybe they’ve shown up to work this morning when they could be resigning and planning an early retirement.

“We’re urging all Oz Lotto players who purchased an entry into last night’s draw from a NSW Lotteries outlet in the City of Shoalhaven to check their tickets today.

“You can check your entries in-store, online at thelott.com, or via the Lott app. If you do realise you’re the division-one winner we’re searching for, please call us on 131 868 to begin the process of claiming your prize.”

There are more chances to win big with Thursday’s Powerball offering $80 million for division one.
