Man discovers he's a Lotto millionaire during work meeting: 'I'm crying!'
A young man discovered he is now a Lotto millionaire this morning after stepping out to take a call informing him of his $1 million division one prize.
The ecstatic South Australian held the only division one winning entry in the Monday & Wednesday X Lotto draw 4146, drawn on Monday – where he took home $1 million.
Answering a call this morning from The Lott, the overnight millionaire said he needed to first duck out of the office so he could talk properly.
“Oh my god. Oh my god! I’m crying literal tears. This is amazing!” said the winner when The Lott broke the life-changing news.
The young man, who hails from Elizabeth in Adelaide, was speechless after learning of his newfound fortune and tried to compose himself before heading back into the office.
‘I’ve been dreaming about this moment’
“I don’t know how I’m going to go back into the office and concentrate after finding out I’m a millionaire. This is incredible!” he laughed.
“I’ve been dreaming about this moment. It couldn’t have come at a better time in my life.”
When asked how he planned to spend his windfall, the lucky man confessed he would buy his first house, a new car and spoil his partner.
“I have to work today, but I’m not too sure if I’ll be able to work for the rest of the week. I’m a millionaire. I need to take some time off to let the news sink in,” he explained.
“I’m going to call my partner right now and tell her the news. She’s going to be so excited! We’ll go out for some drinks tonight to celebrate.”
The winning numbers in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4146 were 1, 8, 35, 27, 13 and 31, while the supplementary numbers were 4 and 5.

Division one Lotto winners tally reaches 250
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 250 so far this financial year, including 22 won by South Australian Lotteries customers.
In the 12 months to June 30, there were 102 division one winning Monday & Wednesday X Lotto entries across Australia, which collectively won $101 million.
Meanwhile, there are more chances to win big with tonight’s Oz Lotto offering $20 million, while Thursday’s Powerball has $3 million up for grabs.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $6.28 million for draw 1557, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $6.09 million for draw 10518.
