Driver's 'embarrassing' act before leaving behind crucial item
A Melbourne driver has raised a few eyebrows after losing control at a roundabout and crashing before driving on as if nothing happened.
The driver, behind the wheel of a Holden ute, was filmed coming through a roundabout at Sharps Road, Melbourne Airport, on Wednesday about 8.35am.
Video uploaded to the Dash Cam Owners Australia Facebook page shows the driver losing control after exiting.
The car skids and when the driver tries to regain control they hit a tree. The impact knocks the front bumper off but seemingly unfazed, the ute drives away – leaving the bumper behind.
It’s not clear if the driver intended to skid on the road but people on Facebook were puzzled by the incident.
“What the? That’s just weird,” one man wrote.
