Woman stopped by airport security because she looked too young for her age
Airport security officials in Turkey have stopped and questioned a Ukrainian singer as they suspected she may have been using someone else's passport.
The authorities allegedly made the assumption because Natalia Dzenkiv's passport stated she was 41, but the officials were convinced she was 20 years younger.
The youthful looking 41-year-old, from the band Lama, had reportedly been trying to return home to Ukraine after a holiday in Turkey when she claims the misunderstanding occurred.
"I am already used to compliments about the way I look, but I couldn't have imagined that it might be a reason for detaining me," she told The Sun.
Ms Dzenkiv was frustrated but amused when she realised why she was stopped.
"When I found out the reason for my arrest, I even started laughing as it was [the] age in my passport," she said.
Fortunately, some of the singer's fans had recognised her and asked for autographs and selfies in the airport - persuading authorities to allow her to continue on her journey, The Sun reports.
And it seems the singer has gained even more followers since news spread about the confusion about her age, with many Instagram users commenting on recent pictures and asking her to share her beauty secrets.
