Gay teen's epic yearbook quote goes viral
This is one yearbook quote that won't be forgotten in a hurry.
Californian graduate Caitlyn Cannon grew tired of seeing the same old boring inanities scrawled in the high school yearbook, so she penned some parting words that were both powerful and memorable.
"I need feminism because I intend on marrying rich and I can't do that if my wife and I are making 75 cent for every dollar a man makes," she wrote.
She cleverly managed to combine the issues of homosexual equality and societal acceptance, the wage divide and feminism into one sentence to make a bold and powerful statement.

A friend posted an image of the quote to Twitter, captioned 'This is all I care about right now,' which quickly won over the internet.
It instantly went viral, receiving thousands of retweets.
Caitlyn, a 17-year-old graduate of Oaks Hill, told the Huffington Post: "I was tired of seeing the same old quotes from popular books and movies and authors, and I wanted to call attention to a problem that women face."
"I've never really been ashamed to say that I am gay, so the LGBT aspect was simply who I am."
