Man stabbed during girlfriend's salsa rage

An Ohio woman has been arrested for allegedly stabbing her partner in the stomach after he ate all of their salsa.

According to local media, an argument broke out between Phyllis Jefferson and her 61-year-old boyfriend after she asked him to stop eating the food.


When he refused, the 50-year-old became violent.

She allegedly stabbed him in the pelvis with a pen and then used a kitchen knife to stab him in the stomach.

Police say they found the man outside the couple's apartment clutching his stomach and covered in blood.

He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Jefferson was later arrested and charged with felonious assault and criminal damaging.
