Woman's unbelievable prediction before winning $5m in Oz Lotto

A Coffs Harbour woman who won $5 million in last night’s Oz Lotto draw has confessed that she had predicted the win.

The NSW woman said that she was not surprised when she received the call this morning from officials informing her she had taken home the $5 million prize.

“I have been telling people for ages that I was going to win Oz Lotto one day. I really, really knew I was going to win!” the excited woman told officials from The Lott.

“I just feel like it was meant to be! So, when you said you were calling from The Lott, I knew what you were going to say,” she said.

The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, took home one of two division one winning entries drawn on Tuesday July 27, 2021 – a win she had been waiting for expectantly.

“I can’t wait to share the news with my daughter," said the woman.

“I am going to ring her, and I am sure she’ll be over the moon! She’ll be jumping up and down and screaming.”

She explained the news was “such a lovely surprise to wake up to” and the news of her multi-millionaire status was a game changer for herself and her family.

When asked how she planned to spend her new found riches, the ecstatic winner said that she was overwhelmed with possibilities.

“I am going to pay off the mortgage,” she said.

“It’d be nice to do some small trips around Australia too.”

“I will share it with my family, and I will do something to spoil myself. I really can do whatever I want now!”

Man claims he 'manifested' his $834,000 Lotto win

There seems to be a sense of intuitiveness among recent Lotto winners, as a Victorian man believes he “manifested” his $834,000 TattsLotto win.

The lucky winner, who resides in Braybrook in Victoria, attributed his division one win to his ritual of imagining a happy, healthy and wealthy life in his old family home when purchasing Lotto tickets.

“See, when I was young, I grew up in a beautiful family home in Preston. So every now and again, I drive back to that home,” the excited winner told an official from The Lott.

"I stare at the house and dream about living in it again, and then I go to a newsagency in the area, and I buy my TattsLotto ticket,” he said.

When asked how he planned to spend his winnings, the Braybrook man said that he planned to invest in his future and turn his dreams of living in his childhood home a reality.

“Some will also go towards my future retirement, and who knows, maybe I will buy my family home in the future!” said the Lotto winner.
