Distraught woman's 'dog snatched by a seagull'
A dog owner claims her small dog has been snatched from her backyard and carried away by a seagull.
Gizmo, a brown and white chihuahua, was grabbed by the bird from his home on Sunday in Paignton, a seaside town in Devon, England, Devon Live reported.
The four-year-old dog was in the back garden when he was apparently carried away, Gizmo’s owner Becca Hill told the publication.
She said her partner was outside hanging the washing when the bird “swooped” down and collected her little dog.
"It carried Gizmo a fair way as we couldn't see him anymore. I have no idea if he was dropped or where he is now,” Ms Hill said.

In a post to Facebook, the mum pleaded for help in finding her pet.
“Please, please, please, anyone finds a chihuahua he's mine, a seagull took him from my garden. Bottom of Maridon Road, Paignton,” she wrote.
“I have a really upset six-year-old missing her dog.”
