Woman's alleged threat to 'put a bullet' in ex-friend over Instagram feud
A Melbourne teenager who allegedly carjacked her former friend after an apparent online spat has been granted bail.
The social media fight ended in an alleged kidnapping with the victim tasered until she passed out.
Yasmin Ercan, 19, was not happy about some of her friend’s Instagram posts.
She allegedly began threatening the 18-year-old through text messages, saying she would “stab her in the throat”, “put a bullet in her head” and “smash her f***ing teeth in”.
A day later, the teenagers agreed to meet at a shopping centre in Braybrook to talk.

Instead Ercan and a male friend allegedly jumped in her car with a taser and told her to drive.
The woman was later forced from the car and allegedly tasered until she passed out.
In court, Ercan’s lawyer argued she should not have been charged with carjacking because the victim’s vehicle was not actually stolen, and the alleged physical harm was caused after they got out.
It is likely Ercan will instead be charged with kidnapping, a crime that can bring with it a maximum of 25 years in jail.
Ercan has been bailed to live with her parents and will return to court in December.
