Woman trying to get day off work caught out by hilarious Photoshop fail
Social media users have mocked a woman’s photoshop fail after she told her boss she couldn’t come into work because she had a flat tyre.
Sydney, from the US state of Oklahoma, took to Twitter last week to call out her co-worker’s suspicious excuse.
“My co-worker called in (yet again) and said she had a nail on her tire that caused her to have a flat,” she said.
“I need everyone to stop what they’re doing and ZOOM IN TO THE NAIL IN THE PICTURE SHE SENT MY BOSS,” Sydney wrote, alongside an image of what appears to be a cartoon nail photoshopped onto a tyre.
The picture quickly caused a stir online, garnering more than 15,000 retweets and 245,000 likes.
Most viewers applauded the girl’s attempt to get the day off work, with others questioning why she used the image when so many more realistic pictures can be found online.
Hundreds of others posted photos of their own damaged tyres in case “anyone needed them”.
“Before she picks up her last check, after being fired, tell her to scroll down, closer to the bottom of the Google results page, or even screenshot a pic from Pinterest, for more believable proof,” one person wrote.

“She literally used the first image that came up when you ask ‘how to fix a tire with a nail’,” a second person referring to online search engines pointed out.
“Lol. I mean. She literally could have just googled an image of a real tire with a nail in it. It would've been a lot less work,” another wrote.
“What happened to the days of faking a cold,” a fourth person questioned.
Some viewers said Sydney shouldn’t have posted the picture, or have been shown the image by her boss.
