Why this tourist's photos have gone viral
A 19-year-old woman is hoping photos of her recent trip to Rome will get worldwide attention after she noticed a special moment occurring in the background.
Alycia Savard-Ouellet was visiting the iconic Trevi Fountain during her two-week tour of Italy recently when she stopped for a few snaps.
She told Fox News as the photos were being taken she noticed a couple behind her kissing.
But she didn’t realise the heartwarming detail in the photo until she showed all the photos to her mum on returning home to Quebec, Canada.
“Then my mum went, ‘Wait, go back to the picture before this one', and we noticed he looked like he was proposing,” Ms Savard-Ouellet said.
“So I've decided to try and find them and share the pictures with them, because they are really cute and in the moment.”
It’s not known if she’s had any luck so far but Ms Savard-Ouellet has shared them in a travel Facebook group.
