Sudanese Community Leaders Urges Young Offenders to Stop 'Thuggish' Behaviour

A leader in the Sudanese community of Melbourne called on offenders to curtail “thuggish” behaviour in the wake of a series of controversial statements about African gang activity in Victoria.

The South Sudanese Association of Victoria’s Kot Monoah called for a stop to “violent and serious offending” in the Melbourne community, ahead of a meeting with Victoria Police on Friday, January 12.
