Lake-Effect Snow Sweeps Across Northern New York

Lake-effect snow and rain swept across northern New York on Tuesday, October 31, just in time for Halloween.

Most snow totals were less than one inch, according to the National Weather Service. One measurement in Oswego County, though, was in excess of two inches. In Erie County, several locations recorded more than an inch of snow.
