Hurricane Irma Gets More Definition

Hurricane Irma strengthened to 115 mph overnight and was on course for the northern Leeward Islands on Monday, September 4.

The latest computer models showed the storm gaining strength? and moving closer to Puerto Rico, Hispaniola, and Cuba by the end of the week.

While it’s still too early to determine if or how Irma will affect the United States, models have moved further west and closer to a possible US landfall. Credit: CIRA/RAMMB/NOAA via Storyful
