Six-Month-Old Lulu Introduced to Public at Australian Reptile Park

The first joey to emerge from its mother’s pouch this season at the Australian Reptile Park was shown to the public on Saturday, July 7.

The arrival of the Joey, named Lulu, marked an exciting moment in the history of the successful breeding program.

“This proves that, if needed, we can establish a captive insurance program and ensure the species is not lost. Australia has the worst mammal extinction rate on the planet so The Australian Reptile Park works to get our visitors invested in the well being and longevity of our native wildlife,” general manager Tim Faulkner said.
