Baby's pram rolls onto train tracks at Vic station

Terrifying video has emerged of the moment a stroller carrying a baby boy toppled onto train tracks at a station in Melbourne's east.

The security vision, released today by Metro, shows a woman, believed to be the child's mother, look away for a matter of seconds as the pram rolls over the platform edge and lands on the tracks.

The woman frantically jumps onto the rail line to retrieve the pram.
