The parents of a helpful young girl have been praised after their daughter was spotted rushing to the aid of an elderly woman.
This week, an onlooker spotted a “gorgeous red head girl” sprinting up to an older lady in Sydney’s east, who was carrying several bags on her own.
Without hesitation the girl, who appeared to be wearing a school uniform at the time, offered to carry one of the woman’s bags to help lighten her load.
“Whoever owns this gorgeous red head girl walking down Brisbane Street, Bondi Junction, carrying this lady’s heavy bags for her, take a bow,” the impressed witness wrote in a post to Facebook on Friday.
“You did something right. She sprinted up to the lady asking if she could help.”
Others were similarly inspired by the girl’s kind gesture, and joined in praising whoever was responsible for raising her.
“This would be amazing if it reached her parents. Well done,” someone wrote in a comment.
“Parenting inspiration for those hard days,” another added.
“Love this,” a third wrote.
