The TikToker’s unfortunate mishap occurred when she accidentally pressed record on her last attempt at a recordable video interview, while speaking about the job to a friend.

“So the question is ‘what is your impression of SkyWest company culture and how does it resonate with you?’” she tells her friend.

“It’s the stupid, cheesiest question I’ve ever read in my life.”

She then proceeds to rehearse her answer to her friend, still unaware that she is being filmed.

“My impression of SkyWest’s culture is based off of the mission statement that you guys have,” she says, before noticing that she is being recorded.

“Oh no - I’m so sorry I didn’t realise I was recording. I was practicing,” she awkwardly says to the camera.

“So I was going to say... Sorry!”

The timed video response then ends on a still of the TikToker's shocked face.

The TikToker is yet to update her followers on the progress of her application with the airline, but she admitted to her followers that she didn’t hold high hopes.

The woman captioned her video: "Def getting the job. sorry skywest”
