'Is that what I think it is?': Couple's creepy find in cruise ship room

A couple’s relaxing cruise holiday was ruined when they discovered a creepy item hiding in their room.

Chris and Dana White, a US couple from Florida, were on a three-day Carnival cruise to the Caribbean when they noticed a strange device pointing at their bed last October.

The couple was shocked to discover a hidden video camera amongst their TV wires.

“We were just really flabbergasted that there’s a camera in the room and it’s plugged up and it’s working,” Chris White told Inside Edition.

“I just immediately felt like we had been invaded,” Dana White said.

“Our privacy had been invaded.”

The couple told the cruise company, who sent an employee to dismantle the device.

The company said that a “video transmitter” was located after an investigation by the ship’s team, but denied that it was connected to electricity or capable of recording, USA Today reported.

Carnival has handed the transmitter to the FBI for further inspection and also notified US Customs and Border Protection, the outlet reported.

It comes after a couple found a spy camera in their Airbnb while holidaying in Canada. The device was hidden in a clock pointed at the bed.
