Driver arrested after Yangebup house crash

A 23-year-old man has been arrested after he crashed his Holden Commodore into the front of a house in Yangebup.

The incident happened around 12.50pm this afternoon when the driver, who was accompanied by a 17-year-old female passenger, was travelling along Yangebup Road near Miguel Road and suddenly lost control of the vehicle before crashing into a the front wall of a nearby house.

Three people were home at the time of the incident but no one was injured.

The SES was in attendance but the extent of damage to the home is not known.

The driver, who suffered minor injuries and was taken to Fremantle Hospital, was apprehended at the scene.

He has been charged and is expected to appear in court at a later date.
