Margaret River junior boardriders and their families made the most of sunny autumn conditions at the weekend, surfing with 2-3ft peaks at Sewer Bowls beach break on Sunday.

The level of competition was high with some outstanding rail turns and vertical surfing from surfers of all ages.

Local ripper Jacob Wilcox came down to help out with judging and witnessed some progressive surfing from the boys and girls divisions.

Standout performances were achieved by Jack Haslau, Finn Cox and Jamaica Selby.

Many surfers taking home encouragement awards and treats organised by hard-working committee members.

The atmosphere surrounding the second-round Margs event was fantastic.

Everyone helped out to ensure a fun format that was contested in true aloha spirit.

Special thanks go to all those that attended on the day, helped out with judging, marshalling and the all-important sausage sizzle.
