Men arrested after pre-dawn burglaries

Two men will appear in the Bunbury Magistrate’s Court this afternoon charged over two burglaries at different South West pharmacies early this morning.

Police allege about 3am the men broke a window and stole medication from the Donnybrook Pharmacy on South Western Highway.

They then allegedly reversed a stolen Toyota hatchback into the Capel Pharmacy on Properjohn Road about 4am and stole more medication.

Police arrived at the scene and took two men into custody.

Bunbury Det-Sen. Const. James Gaunt said two men had been charged with aggravated burglary and stealing a motor vehicle.
