Pearlers unbeaten

Broome soccer's mixed social competition was a rip-roaring success, with the campaign coming to an end earlier this month.

Ten teams, totalling 120 players, took part.

Pearlers completed a blemish-free season to win all nine of their games and take out the premiership. Ben Conneally was a driving force in his side's unbeaten season, scoring 15 goals and winning the player of the season award.

Men's 11-a-side champions Meatworks split into an A and B contingent, with the first team finishing this competition as runners-up.

The Nine and The Pretenders completed the top four. Social games continue each Wednesday at Broome Recreation and Aquatic Centre.
