Youth ready to dive in at party

A pool party will be held at the Goldfields Oasis Recreation Centre next month to celebrate the end of the school year.

Organised by the centre and the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder youth council, the School’s Out Pool Party will give young people free access to the pool to make use of new inflatable equipment and take part in outdoor sports activities.

Unlimited use of the waterslide will be on offer for $5, as well as music by DJ Orlando and a sausage sizzle for $2.

Goldfields Oasis centre manager Coby Halpin said staff were excited to host the party.

“It’s going to be a lot of fun,” he said. “With the giant inflatables, the waterslide and the Flow Rider open there will be so much to do, and guests are welcome to bring their own pool toys, lilos, noodles or pool balls to make it even more fun.”

About 200 people attended last year’s pool party. The party will be held on December 21 between 6.30pm and 8.30pm.
