Exchange program a hit for locals
Exchange program a hit for locals

Two Kalgoorlie-Boulder residents are urging people to nominate for the Rotary Group Study Exchange Program having returned from overseas recently.

Michael Young and Jenny Gleeson travelled to Russia and the US respectively as part of the program, which is open to young professionals aged between 25 and 40 who are not Rotary members.

The scheme involves two groups of four people from the southern part of WA heading overseas, with the idea being to learn and impart knowledge while there and bring some back to WA, Mr Young said.

The pair agreed their favourite part of the experience was spending time with host families in the countries they were visiting.
