Geraldton schools excel in WACE course stats
Geraldton schools have been recognised for excellence after WA Certificate of Education course statistics were released last week.
Posted by the School Curriculum and Standards Authority, Year 12 student achievement data and State statistics for 2012 revealed Geraldton Senior College made the top 50 for achievement in vocational education.
GSC ranked 48, based on the percentage of VET students who achieved an AQF VET certificate II or higher qualification in Year 12.
In 2012, 78.16 per cent of eligible Year 12 students achieved an AQF VET certificate II or higher.
Nagle Catholic College was recognised for highest performing students in geography stage three, ranking in the top 15 of 122 eligible schools.
