Leading edge patrols roll out

Criminal drivers will have nowhere to hide when two state-of-the-art police cars are unleashed on the region’s roads by the end of the year.

And the door is closing on drug drivers, with new road-side testing soon to be introduced.

WA police revealed the longawaited additions to its fleet are scheduled to be brought into operation by next month. New Cozart drug testers, which can screen driver’s saliva for drugs, are being rolled out across regional WA in early 2013.
