Sheika faces up to model life in Sydney

She might have left The Face Australia as she couldn't handle being away from her three-year-old son but the experience has changed *Shenika Rule *'s life path.

The 25-year-old *Swan View *beauty has quit her job working at a *Perth *women's health clinic and is taking her *WA *supermodel mentor *Nicole Trunfio *'s advice to move to Sydney to pursue her dream of being a full-time model.

"Nicole has pushed me to do this move to Sydney," Rule told _AAA _.

"Having Nicole believe in me made me realise that no matter my age I can do it.

"So I am going to do a temporary move with my partner and my son to hit the modelling circuit hard.

"It is a much bigger scene over there in Sydney.

"In a few months, we will look at how the modelling is going and maybe we will move for a year or something."

Despite being eliminated by *Naomi Campbell *from the Foxtel modelling reality search show in last night's episode, Rule said her heart wasn't in the competition as all she could think about was her baby boy *Harlem *.

"I got a lot of anxiety being over there and not being able to have contact with him," she said.

"I knew it was going to be hard but I didn't realise it was going to be that hard . . . it just got too much for me and it felt a bit overwhelming."

Rule is testing the waters in Sydney this week after being flown over to star alongside top model *Samantha Harris *at Australian Indigenous Fashion Week.

"They contacted me and said they wanted to bring me over," she said.

"I am really excited.

"I don't think I have ever been so excited for another show, especially with Samantha Harris being the face of the event.

"I think I can learn so much from her."
