Carole King to headline Leeuwin

American singer songwriter Carole King will headline the Leeuwin Concert Series next year.

King will perform at the Leeuwin Estate Winery in Margaret River on February 9 and 10 for the 29th annual alfresco concert series at the winery.

King and her former husband Gerry Goffin wrote dozens of chart hits during the 1960s and her 1971 album Tapestry is one of the best selling albums of all time.

She is widely recognised as one of the most successful female songwriters in history with hits including I Feel the Earth Move, It’s Too Late, Sweet Seasons, Jazzman and Nightingale.

King’s compositions have been recorded by over 1000 artists including Aretha Franklin, Dusty Springfield, James Taylor, Celine Dion and Amy Winehouse.

Concert guests will be invited to stay at the winery after the main performance and enjoy dancing to the music of the post concert arena party band.
