Gemma Ward sells New York pad
G *emma Ward *looks set to make a tidy profit if she can find a buyer for her New York apartment.
The *Perth *-raised supermodel, right, has reportedly put her East Village pad up for sale for $US2.25 million ($2.57 million) - $US750,000 more than she paid for it seven years ago.
Ward, who became the youngest model to appear on the cover of American Vogue at 16, bought the three-bedroom home at 232 East 6th Street for $US1.5 million in 2007 and completely renovated it.
But she may be on the hunt for a bigger nest since expanding her family, giving birth to a baby girl named *Naia *last December - her first child with Sydney- raised male model *David Letts *.
Ward made a return to modelling at Milan Fashion Week in September after a six-year break and has since headed a campaign for Country Road and appeared on the cover of Australian Vogue.
