Final Hunger Games trailer released

With the countdown on until The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 hits cinemas, thirsty fans have been given the final trailer for the highly anticipated film.

Again chaos, explosions and the doom and gloom of the districts rebellion are splattered throughout the trailer, along with a bit more of a glimpse of the traumatised Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) as the Mockingjay - their symbol of hope.

A teary and captured Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) is also there delivering a warning from the Capitol, where the evil President Snow (Donald Sutherland) says, "Miss Everdeen, prepare to pay the ultimate price".

The late Philip Seymour Hoffman makes an appearance early on, telling District 13's President Coin (Julianne Moore), "no one else can do this but her".

The grey-haired Coin disagrees, saying Katniss won't be able to handle being the Mockingjay.

In the preview, amid the various shots of fighting and noticeably less of Liam Hemsworth as Gale, there's also a classic moment from the third book in Suzanne Collins' series, which Mockingjay Part 1 and 2 is based on.

As Katniss stands before a burning building with her team (including Game of Thrones' Natalie Dormer), she tells President Snow that she has a message for him.

"If we burn, you burn with us," she yells.

Fans have less than a month until The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 releases, with the flick hitting Australian cinemas on November 20
