Brierty has won an $11 million contract for the State Government's development arm LandCorp to build stage one of the Broome Road Industrial Park in the Kimberley.

The project involves earthworks, drainage, roadworks, water reticulation and services installation.

Works will begin on site this month and be completed later this year.

Managing director Peter McBain said the contract built on the company's strong track record in delivering land development projects in regional WA, following on from similar contracts in Newman, Roebourne, Wickham and Kalgoorlie.

Shares in Brierty were up one cent, or 2.5 per cent, to 41 cents at 7.45am.
