'Ugliest bride I have ever photographed': Newlyweds shamed

A bride was gutted to hear her wedding photographer had labelled her ‘ugly’ and a ‘bridezilla’ in a Facebook post.

Photographer Lee Maxwell Judd shared a photo of the bride, Ashlea Howard, 30, and her husband Daniel Howard on his Facebook page with the caption: “ugliest bride I have every photographed. Winged (sic) the whole time #Bridezilla#1”.

The couple and Mr Maxwell Judd have since become caught up in a bitter social media feud.

Mrs Howard said the comments were “unacceptable” and she couldn’t believe her eyes when she saw the post.

'It was really disgusting, I was absolutely mortified at his behaviour, it was just unacceptable,” she told the Daily Mail.

Mr Maxwell Judd has since come out defending himself saying the Facebook account was hacked.

Mrs Howard said the Sydney couple was unhappy with 90 percent of the 1200 photos captured of her wedding.

She claimed they were overexposed, blurry and that people’s faces were contorted.

Mr Maxwell Judd said this was his “creative style”.

The photographer was paid $1500 to capture the couple’s wedding in the Southern Highlands on February 21, 2015.

Mrs Howard said the photographer was acting a bit “bizarre” at the wedding.

She told Daily Mail Australia her jaw dropped when she saw the photos for the first time.

“He was definitely one of the cheaper photographers but now I know why,” she said.

“He was acting like some artsy-fartsy creative, it was just a bit bizarre.”

Mrs Howard said the feud started when the pair struggled to get the photos they paid for.

She said Mr Maxwell Judd had posted the USB stick containing the photos to the wrong woman with the same name.

She claimed she received an SMS from the photographer telling her the other Ashley needed her address so she could post the photos to the couple.

In the end Mrs Howard’s husband Daniel drove to the photographer’s house to collect the USB.

Mr Maxwell Judd claimed the Facebook post was written by a hacker and had since been deleted.

He took to Facebook again to apologise.

“Apologies to all concerned. My FB page was compromised by a computer hack yesterday evening”.

Mrs Howard claims the photographer sent further abusive comments to people who reviewed his page.

'He said his account had been compromised and then after that he wrote some crazy things,' Mrs Howard said.

'I’ve sent the photos to a professional photographer who is having a look at them to give me honest feedback to see if they’re good or if a refund is warranted.”

Mr Maxwell Judd told the Daily Telegraph his page was hacked and the comments were not his.

“I don’t even know anything about that post”, he told reporters.

According to Mr Maxwell Judd, the scandal has attracted more people to his photography page and he is now booked up until 2019.

Since the matter has been made public, Mrs Howard has received 18 offers to photograph her and her husband in their wedding attire. However she has revealed that she has put on a bit of weight since the wedding and does not feel at her best.
