Teen boy charged over crime spree

A 15-year-old boy has been charged after an alleged crime spree across Perth earlier this year.

The High Wycombe boy allegedly stole cars and burgled houses in City Beach, Quinns Rock, Beechboro, Koondoola and Bayswater in January and February.

Police also allege he failed to stop for officers while driving stolen vehicles.

The boy has been charged with aggravated burglary, attempted aggravated burglary, stealing, stealing a motor vehicle, driving recklessly, failing to stop for police, assault, fraud, driving without a licence and breaching bail.

He will face the Perth Children’s Court today.
