Vic grandmother snapped sunbaking topless in property advertisement

A Melbourne grandmother is furious after she was snapped sun baking topless and in a G-String for a real estate advertising campaign.

Mandy Lingard, a mother of three and grandmother of one, had stripped down and was soaking up the sun in the privacy of her own back yard when she was photographed by a drone taking aerial images of her neighbour's multi-million dollar property at Mount Martha on Melbourne's Mornington Peninsula.

The 50-year-old says she has been left humiliated and embarrassed after the photograph, which depicts her scantily-clad and lying face down on the grass, appeared on a 'for sale' billboard outside her neighbour's home.

The offending image has also appeared in the real estate magazine and online.

"I heard a noise then I saw this odd thing flying around and thought it was a kid's toy. It hovered around and luckily I was face down at the time," she told News Corp.

"Then a couple of weeks later I walked out my door and thought 'Oh my God' that's what it was doing; taking photographs.

"You could see it's our backyard and quite clearly me.

"It's in the real estate magazine, it's on the internet and the board. I'm really embarrassed."

Local estate agent Eview released a statement apologising for embarrassing Ms Lingard, describing the incident as an oversight which will not happen again.

Today the billboard was taken down.
