Former WAIS cycling coach Darryl Benson has appeared in Joondalup Magistrate's Court today accused of indecently dealing with two teenagers.

The charges come after his shock resignation from WAIS in May.

Mr Benson's lawyer Seamus Rafferty indicated the 53-year-old would plead not guilty to all seven charges including including indecently dealing with a child aged 13 to 16 and indecent assault.

He is scheduled to appear in court again in November.
