Card accused faces 155 new charges

A woman who is alleged to have used stolen credit cards almost 100 times in several suburbs around Perth has been charged with more than 160 alleged offences.

Sarah Jane Stack, 27, is alleged to have used the stolen cards several times in dozens of Perth suburbs including Morley, Victoria Park, Claremont and Joondalup.

She appeared in Perth Magistrate’s Court today where 155 charges were added to her list of alleged offences.

The charges included 93 counts of gaining benefit by fraud, 38 counts of stealing, 11 counts of attempting to gain benefit by fraud, six counts of burglary and commit, three counts of aggravated burglary and commit, two counts of stealing a motor vehicle, one count of burglary with intent and one count of possessing stolen or unlawfully obtained property.

Police who were searching for the woman last Wednesday arrested her and charged her with aggravated armed robbery, aggravated burglary, stealing, stealing a motor vehicle, aggravated burglary and giving false details to police.

Police investigations are continuing.
